Step 1: Make Contact with us. Send an email to membership@peak4x4response.co.uk
Step 2: Pop along and see us at a meet & greet session. Held bi monthly.
Step 3: Prospective members undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, in accordance with Derbyshire County Councils policy, as we are members of the Local Resilience Forum (LRF).
Step 4: Once your DBS Check is returned, you will complete all necessary paperwork and document checks. You will undertake a driver assessment (if applying to become a driving responder, support and controller positions do not require this).
Once this is completed successfully, you will be required to pay the annual subscription fee of £20.00 (this contributes towards the cost of Public Liability Insurance, PPE and ID card) PLEASE NOTE we are a not for profit organsation and are self funding.
Step 5: welcomed as a member of Peak 4x4 Response. You will be issued with your PPE, PR number & handbook, which is a useful reference tool, holds contact details and also your training log.
Training is organised to cover a wide array of skills relating to the tasks we undertake for our partners. Training will be made available to you on each monthly meeting, with additional training days notified should you wish to attend. You are encouraged to take advantage of the enormous range of expertise amongst our membership.
